Acquired over thirty years ago comes this Australian Aboriginal Folk Art “Mimi Spirits” painting on rock- a one-of-a-kind sculpture. Colors are vibrant and like new. This is an authentic aboriginal work of art with original well cared for and beautiful colors.
Dimensions: 14 inches high and 5.5 inches wide and 0.75 inches thick.
About Mimi spirits:
Mimi Spirits are fairy-like beings of some of the Indigenous Australians tribes. They are described as having, extremely thin and elongated bodies, They usually spend most of, their time living in rock crevices. They are said to have taught the Aborigines of Australia how to hunt, prepare kangaroo meat, use fire and dance. They are like humans but they live in a different dimension.
