the seated earth mother posed figure fashioned from a dense micaceous clay with lithe arms settled at the waist and well defined legs and head slightly tilted in an upward sky gazing mode with pecked eye sockets and wide oval mouth, raised nose bridge and the long irregularly incised lengths of hair carved from the top of the head to the middle backside all over with dull black tones and patina from great age.
