From Japan comes this hand-hammered and wrought bronze percussion instrument which was created by specialized 19th century Samurai craftsman with dimpled construction and includes a rare incised signature of donor along rim. This temple bell sets atop a round lacquered footed wood display base with silk pillow and wooden striker.
