Japan, a fine antique Meiji period seated Buddha, hand cast bronze, with a fine medium to dark brown patina performing the mudra of compassion mudra.
High quality, deep casting with a pleasant serene face, robe and details. Beautiful example. This bronze Buddha would be a fine candidate or for a discerning collector and collection. The Buddha sits beautifully.
