A lovely and hard to find Chinese hand-carved, hand-painted Antique giltwood Moon gate shaped surround Headboard Decoration, 3 pieces, late Qing dynasty, 19th century. These works of art were likely once part of an antique Chinese marriage bed facade.
Tongue and groove construction.
Fine carved and gold gilt panel details of village and urban life scenes.
This would make a wonderful head board surround or moon gate form wall decoration.
