This is a large-scale ceramic effigy master work of a horse or pony, a wonderful hand glazed modernist work of art possibly by the highly regarded Scheurich German pottery kiln mid last century.
It is in virtually mint condition.
Beautiful design, lovely vivid colors, handcrafted, good opportunity to collect as few like this large-scale work of art were crafted or survive today. Gorgeous tomato red and green highlights glazing. We’ve never seen another of this large-scale so an elusive to find one.
