This is a handmade and hand glazed large-scale master work Majolica ceramic effigy of a polar bear executed in a fine creamy white rare craquelure glaze by a master artisan and German pottery kiln mid-last century, 1950.
It is in virtually mint condition. Beautiful design, lovely realistic color, stunning hand glazing makes a good opportunity to collect as few like this large-scale works of art were crafted or survive today.
Substantial dimensions: 6.5 inches in length and 3.5 inches high a big one!
