Japan rare antique wooden red and black lacquered Bento food box display circa Taisho period, 1915. Most likely was a portable unit used for traveling.
Complete and cased.
Inside: 20 individual signed boxes with lids in a portable display case, case size 25 inches high and 20 inches wide and 10 inches deep
Individual Bento box size: 2.5 inches high and 7 inches deep an 3.5 inches wide.
Condition: Very good with fine patina. Immediately usable and/or displayable.
