An important black lacquer treasure dated 1852 and with original box
Superb antique Ohibachi (over sized hibachi) from late Edo era used by a high ranking official Daimyo class or important household of means as a formal fire holder with central handmade thick bronze brazer and hammered floral bronze applications over a Fine rich black lacquered wood frame.
Perfect accessory as a lovely coffee table with a plexiglass top as shown in photograph, or as a handsome planter
