An exceptionally elusive find.
This fine quality 100+ year old Japanese hand crafted glass beads curtain or noren (entry way curtain) is hand assembled from colorful antique glass beads and features kanji -Peace- symbols along the top and auspicious symbols sun with long life crane. It dates to the early 20th century and is in remarkably fine condition. The full length is secured with a sturdy horizontal hard wood bar with metal hooks.
