Rare find from our recent Japan travels.
This is a unique offer of a cache of three (3) Japanese smoothly textured kiseru smoking pipes from the early 20th century, Meiji period (circa 1910). These kiseru are crafted in three separate sections, each with a gilt central section. They have an aged patina from over a century of age, with signature labels.
A kiseru (煙管) is a Japanese smoking pipe, traditionally used for smoking kizami, a finely shredded tobacco product resembling hair.
These kiseru have been used yet well loved and remain in functionally good condition.
Only one set of three.
