China, an antique pair foo dog lions hand painted and hand glazed in brilliant five color blue,green, yellow, cream and white glazing, circa late Qing dynasty 1900-1920.
Fashioned in heavy ceramic, these larger scale 19 inch long creatures, one with puppy and one with ball, are richly decorated in green yellow and blue glazes, and sit foursquare on attached rectangular bases. They retain their original silk tassels and one of their original export markers. Beautiful and excellent condition.
