Rare pair white and chocolate hand painted garden rabbits
A big handsome pair (2) old heavily hand cast rabbits in a realistic alert “ears pricked” pose measuring 12 inches tall, 10 inches wide, and weighing almost 30 pounds the pair , circa 1940.
These are among the largest vintage garden rabbits we have seen and still retaining their older painted patina of chocolate brown and crackled white colors- just the way we like to find them.
Quality: Attractively hand cast with floppy pricked ears, paws, cute nose and fluffy tail, plus those peering eyes, and other quality details.
Quality heavy hand casting, weighing in at nearly 30 pounds the pair.
