A fine old Japanese kettle hook with bamboo post, iron hardware and hand-carved hardwood koi prosperity fish crossbar, originally used in Japanese main living rooms for suspending cooking pots and kettles over a charcoal fire. Today these antiques serve as decorative hanging planter hooks.
