Japan, a fine large antique hand cast bronze round globe lantern crafted in full gold gilt & engraved with chrysanthemum flowers and vines , Meiji period 19th century.
Impressive dimensions: 18 inches tall with hanger loop and 16 inches diameter

May be suspended from sturdy loop handle or placed on any surface as it’s opening base aperture serves as a stable base and as an access to place candles or possibly for an electrical light.
