Here’s a beautiful and serene way to accent your indoor art space or outdoor garden space with this rare handcrafted antique treasure from Japan!
Our hard to find antique early to mid-20th century planter is crafted from keyaki (elmwood) and copper “butterfly” inlays reminiscent of George Nakashima’s eponymous mid-20th century wood plank tables that frequently sell in the tens of thousands of dollars at auction. This large-scale 26″ diameter work of art is in good condition with minor wear and contours overall; and its used surface reveals traces of old patina. This would make a perfect planter or table (with a glass or plexiglass to be added), or is certainly a beautiful work of art standing on its own. One of a kind. Gorgeous Japanese handcraft.
