A 19thcentury work of art from Our Recent Japanese Acquisitions
From Japan comes this big beautiful and antique hand cast “full moon” lantern or ikebana vase in a large scale size
complete with an antique 72″ link chain. The inside socket neatly holds an oil lamp bottle as shown or your favorite flowers.
The bronze lantern is finished in an attractive original dark red murashido and with “cloud band” incisions. This lantern is a desirable and special Japanese lantern created with a unique cloud band surface.
The 72 inch antique chain is a bonus
This attractive and unusual hanging vase, named Tetsu tsuri Douro, may be used as a lantern holding an oil lamp (photo), or an Ikebana flower planting arranging vessel or a unique candle holder.
