This is a fine large-scale solid hand cast bronze effigy of a crouching rabbit -usagi- with an attractive warm brown patina circa 19th century. This was sourced from a private Japanese collection this past year.
Please notice the superb details of its fur, feet, ears ,and face. Heavily hand cast, we have seen no better.
