This is a very nice group of two old heavy hand cast flower frogs- flower arranging accessories from old Japan. They are creatively cast in the form of a turtle and gourd with the gourd form crafted in two fitted parts. We will also include the patinated bronze flower stem seen as it was from the same collection.
These date to the mid-20th century.
Dimensions: Turtle form 4.5 inches long and 3.25 inches wide; the gourd form is 3.75 inches length and 2.5 inches wide. The bronze flower stem is 12 inches tall
Quality: Fine old patina, old and original surface casting marks are visible which is not unusual for these kind of flower accessories
