Japan, a rare pair (2) of old, attractive and sturdy antique two section lanterns with handsome iconic expressive “Watchful Owl” motifs.
They possess their wonderful original gilt and verdigris surfaces.
Found from a Japanese American tea garden.
Fine original used garden condition with original gilt over dark earthy green under patina appropriate to their age- just the way we like to find them!
Heavy quality capable of handling inclement weather conditions.
Dimensions: Each is 5 inches tall and 3.5 inches wide
