Japan, a rare pair (2) of tall old, attractive and sturdy antique two section lanterns with handsome iconic expressive “Watchful Owl” motifs.
They possess their wonderful original gilt and verdigris surfaces.
One signed Japan on interior label.
Fine original used garden condition with original gilt over dark earthy green under patina appropriate to their age including their original green felt under base padding – just the way we like to find them!
Heavy quality capable of handling inclement weather conditions.
Dimensions: Each is 7 inches tall and 4 inches wide
