Japanese Pair Adult and Offspring Gilt Owls
Japan, a rare pair of old, attractive and sturdy antique two section lanterns with handsome iconic expressive “Watchful Owl” motif.
They possess a wonderful original gilt and verdigris surfaces.
Found from a Japanese American tea garden.
Fine original used garden condition with original gilt over dark earthy green under patina appropriate to age – just the way we like to find them!
Heavy quality capable of handling inclement weather conditions.
