Rare Find- Rabbit Handled Planters – First We’ve Seen
Here’s a beautiful and unique way to accent your indoor fine art collection or outdoor garden space with this wonderful Japanese pair (2) of antique bronze planters from old Japan dating to the Meiji period.
These are no ordinary planters. Each antique bronze planter depicts a pair of rabbit handles on each side. Please notice the finely cast rabbits and incised vegetal decoration including the round wooden display bases.

History:
Hibachi censers were widely used in old Japan as vessels to utilize incense. Today these fine antiques also make wonderful planters , visual accents, and floral displays for favorite plants.
