An early large and hard to find Japanese stone Kanon Guan Yin in the gassho mudra of adoration. It has been beautifully hand-sculpted from a grey-hued sedimentary stone.
Age: Great age early Edo period, circa 18th century or earlier
Condition: Attractive old lichen patina. Remarkable condition for its great age.
An excellent garden or indoor sculptural choice with a genuine spiritual presence.
