This is likely a one of a kind and extraordinarily beautiful 13 inch tall hand incised and hand painted pyrography turned wooden vase we found decades ago in Australia.
Depicted are Egyptian revival themes of four human/ Egyptian gods hand painted in vibrant red and black colors
It is signed K. Bowshall on its base and we date to the art deco period when this revival theme was popular.
Dimensions: 13 inches tall and 4 inches diameter
Hand made, hand carved, hand painted, and hand burned using pyrography techniques

History of the Pyrography:
py·rog·ra·phy pīˈräɡrəfē/ noun is the art or technique of decorating wood or leather by burning a design on the surface with a heated metallic point. Pyrography was particular popular during the last quarter of the 19th century and first quarter of the 20th century
