According to Douglas Schneible “We’ve known about the growing popularity of antique millstones in America among gardeners and landscape designers for some time. However only recently were we able to secure a small collection including beautiful styles and hard to find sizes. We love the idea that these artifacts once were used in China by industrial age grist mills over 100 years ago. They’re amazing works of art that are handsome, rugged, and should easily endure another 100 years. We feel lucky these were saved from certain destruction. We were not able to get as many as we’d like so we’re taking reservations for the few we have in advance of shipment this coming spring.
