This rare find is 18 feet long, a communal prayer bead necklace consisting of
over 800 handcrafted rosewood beads with large central “Guru” bead”, strung on
woven natural fiber. Lengthy necklaces such as these were often used in
Buddhist ritual prayer and sometimes carried by Samurai as protective amulets.
