This is a one-of-a-kind original and beautiful hand incised broad top wooden end table -a unique creation- finished in attractive native American “Good Luck” symbols motif. This unique work of art is hand-finished while exuding graceful age.

It is signed on bottom of one of its two drawers: “Souvenir de Mai J C St. Cyr a pur Madame, 8 Juen 1910

This hand crafted end table is finished using stains and oils and incising in great detail using an arts and crafts pyrographic (wood burned) technique.

History of the Pyrography:
py·rog·ra·phy / noun is the art or technique of decorating wood or leather by burning a design on the surface with a heated metallic point. Pyrography was particular popular during the last quarter of the 19th century and first quarter of the 20th century. In rarer instances, the pyrography decorative technique was combined with hand painting using stains and oils and producing largely unique works of art.
