The first complete bird cage we have seen.

Found in Japan, this attractive antique Chinese hand crafted wooden bird cage is replete with four multi glazed porcelain feeding bowls, two wood bowls and a pair of carved bone crane bird effigy plaques.

Features include a fanciful hook top, sliding entry door, and a likely added later, carved “long life” cinnabar ball with silk attachment. Rarely found complete with all its original accoutrements, this beautiful example would make an attractive work of art displayed in your favorite space.

You may display it either directly on its base or suspend it from its hook.

The original dark patina is indicative of its good age- and is just the way we like to find them.
