Japan, a fine six-panel screen byobu carefully crafted by a professional artisan with hand applied gold leaf. This attractive screen dates to the Meiji period, circa 1900. The rich dark red lacquer frame and bronze mounts perfectly compliment this handsome and artistic work of art.
