Japan folding three-panel hand applied gold leaf tea screen furosaki byobu depicting “Contemporary Glitter,” mineral ink colors on paper 15.25” high and 47.5” wide when fully extended. Virtually mint condition.
A lovely composition in reasonable, useful size with vibrant gold leaf and with a handsome black lacquer frame. These small tea screens are sought after today for their unique beauty, comfortable size, and the way that they complement contemporary settings.
