A good small scale Japanese antique hand painted six-panel folding screen byobu conceived in an attractive and unique “bird of paradise and pink blossoms galore” motif and convenient size.
Included is a large scale depiction of an bird of paradise somewhat conceaaed on the trunk of the pink blossomed tree all carefully executed on a tan ground.
Beautifully hand painted mineral pigments on silk. Fine condition.
