Japan, a good two-panel gold screen Byobu of simple but highly detailed brush strokes on cream ground paper, in a serene, peaceful mood as a Mountain Tea House encounter unfolds in the foreground. Pines, peaks, and sharp terrain envelopes the retreat.
The screen dates to the Taisho period, early 20th century
