This is a Japanese complete antique album of twenty eight (28) pages of authentic and old silk and spun cotton cloth fabric samples dating to the Edo period.

Each fabric swatch has been masterfully mounted by an old time collector from Okinawa and each sampler annotated with great detail. The connected accordion style pages are beautifully presented in an attractive and colorful handmade and hand printed original silk bound album.
Quality: All works of art are in Fine condition with extraordinary color.
There are no holes, tears , or repairs; only light foxing on some pages.
Age: All fabric samples date to the Edo and early Meiji periods, 1850-1880.
