Here’s the finest large signed bronze rabbit -an antique 19th century issue that we have had the pleasure of owning- a superb treasure found in Kyoto.
This is a finely crafted hand-carved big eared effigy of a seated rabbit usagi.
This was sourced from a large Kyoto collection this past month.
It includes its original collector signed wooden storage box, tomobako.
Quality: Finest smoothly carved ears, paws, cute nose and tail, and other details; attractive patina.
Substantial Dimensions: 8 inches length and 3.5 tall and 4 inches depth
Hand-carved- smooth to the touch with original dark handling patina.
