From Japan comes this rare surviving hand cast “Leaf form” oil lamp complete with its original “rat tail” hanger, mid 19th century or earlier.
This palm sized lamp exhibits fine period craft with its twisted handle and hand wrought iron hook. Plenty of patina signifies great age and use.
8.5 inches tall to top of hook and 3.75 inches wide.
Heavy quality, beautifully hand finished with a deep surface patina .
