Here’s a rare find from a collector we visited in Kyoto. A very unusual treasure from Japan.
This is a finely crafted pair of bronze koi one in a realistic gray ochre color and one in brown color and both accompanied by their original signed kiri wood collector box tomobako.
This was sourced from a large Japanese collection this past year,

Large fish: Big and heavy- 11 inches length and 4.75 inches high
Small fish: 8.75 inches length and 3.25 inches high
Quality: Finely handcrafted in bronze with beautiful detailed scales, head, and fins
